Curtis Chapter By-Laws


  1. Must show active membership card at all meetings and outings.

  2. GPAA and Property owners are not liable for accidents or injuries at any

              outings or meetings.

  3. Each individual is responsible for and expected to have there own

              health and accident insurance.

  4. Members only and their family members under 18 years of age at

              overnight functions.

  5. Non-members may participate at one outing before they are required

              to join the GPAA.

  6. Members and guests of GPAA must follow rules at public campgrounds

              run by the state or federal or other campgrounds.

  7. Members and guests will follow any and all requests and wishes at

              personal family camp areas, property owners or a GPAA officer

              can request anyone "out of line" to leave the outing or property.

  8. No loud, rowdy noise permitted during gatherings.  No foul or offensive

              language or inappropriate jokes will be tolerated.

  9. No drugs or alcoholic beverages at meetings or outings.  A beer or drink

              or two is ok but be smart about it, please.

10. Only use designated fire pit.  No lighter fluids or flammable liquids will

               be used to start campfires.  A 5 gallon bucket of water at every

               campfire.  Campfires must be out before members and guests

       go to bed.

11. Respect bedtimes of other members and guests.

12. No illegal fireworks at meetings or outings.

13. No open carrying of firearms or weapons.  No firearms allowed unless

                licensed.

14. Leave meeting and outing areas clean.

15. Meeting or outings may be cancelled due to inclement weather.  Call

                ahead.  The decision to cancel will be made by 2 of the 5 officers.
